A company built on a simple conviction: the Atlantic should be a bridge, not a barrier.
Where we come from
The British brass band is one of the great living traditions of music-making — born in the collieries and mills of the nineteenth century, sharpened by a hundred and fifty years of contesting, and carried today by players of astonishing skill. North America has a thriving banding movement of its own, with ensembles, championships, and audiences discovering the sound for the first time.
What the two sides have lacked is a reliable connection: tours that make sense, guest artists who arrive prepared, introductions made by someone who knows both worlds from the inside. H4 Music Group was founded to be exactly that connection.

Where we are going
Our work runs in both directions. We bring British artists west — soloists for festival features, conductors for workshops and contests, ensembles for tours that reward everyone involved. And we help North American bands look east: repertoire guidance, commissioning introductions, and honest advice from people who have sat in the bandroom, not just the office.
We would rather do fewer things precisely than many things approximately. If we take on your project, it gets our full attention.
